Faith

Sometimes days are too long, and it’s hard to talk to anyone. For the bad days, we made Faith, an app that keeps a check on you and your mental health.

We built Faith to make sure that you take care of yourself, and your friends. And our studies say, the first way is to talk. So we made it. You can talk to Faith normally, and be sure she’ll be listening. Because we are all we got.

Problem

Depression is a touchy and stigmatic topic, even in today’s modern world. Coming from a place where I’ve seen a lot of friends and close ones go through bad times, and no good enough digital solutions for it, we decided to build one ourselves, with a focus on interfacing.

Market Research

We collected information from articles and case studies on different problems and mental illnesses to identify user expectations.

User Research

To research on the users, we looked for stories and help from friends, family members and doctors who have had dealt with depression.

We uncovered three main user pain points that allowed us to discover trends and patterns from which insights could be constructed.

Prototype

The black and white theme is used to show the contrasts in the moods, and a low-volume assistant was the way we decided to go. As Faith would detect mood elevation, the volume, and the color would navigate away from the dark towards the light. Just as we would.
